Zelensky met with the King of Spain

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky met with King Philip VI of Spain. The Ukrainian leader announced this in his Telegram-channel.

Zelensky thanked the monarch, his family and the people of Spain “for their continued support of Ukraine.”

Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan had a short conversation at the summit of the European Political Community in Granada, Spain; this was their first meeting.

During the summit, the head of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen, expressed confidence in the continued support of Ukraine from the United States. The head of the association’s foreign policy service, Josep Borrell, said that the European Union is not able to compensate for assistance to Kyiv, which the United States refused to provide.
