The UN Security Council rejected Russia’s amendments to the Brazilian draft resolution on a ceasefire in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone.

It is noted that both amendments were rejected.

One of the amendments calls for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, while the second condemns indiscriminate attacks on Gaza.

At the same time, the United States vetoed the Brazilian draft resolution on the Middle East, Russia abstained from voting.

Earlier it was reported that China will support Russia’s amendments to the Brazilian draft UN Security Council resolution on the Middle East.
