The summer transport rental season has ended at VDNKh
The summer transport rental season at VDNKh in Moscow has ended; visitors have used it more than 130 thousand times, the press service of the exhibition complex reported.
“The summer transport rental season at VDNKh has ended. The summer transport rental season at the Main Exhibition of the country started in early May and lasted until mid-October. During this time, VDNKh guests rented vehicles more than 130 thousand times,” the message says.
It is clarified that bicycle rental points at VDNKh operated near the arch of the Main Entrance, on the Northern and Southern loops of the Ring Road, as well as on the Ring Road near pavilions No. 8 “Young Technicians” and No. 44 “Rabbit Breeding”. The most popular bike rental point in the capital was the station at the main entrance to VDNKh, where more than 17.6 thousand rides have been recorded since the beginning of the season. Guests were offered 500 modern bicycles, 200 velomobiles, and 50 scooters. In total, over the summer, VDNKh visitors rented bicycles almost 53 thousand times, velomobiles – about 38 thousand times, electric scooters – over 11 thousand times.
In addition, it is noted that this season it was possible to rent boats and catamarans in Ostankino Park and on the 3rd Kamensky Pond. 38 thousand people took advantage of the rental of the Scarlet Sails boat station, located next to the Golden Spike fountain.
