The report says that the media and social networks published videos of the beating and abuse of a pupil of the Bolsheukovsky orphanage in the Omsk region.
Investigators opened a criminal case against the employees of the institution. They are suspected of committing a crime under Art. 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence).
“Investigators are checking information that the case of beating of minors in this institution is not an isolated one, video materials are being confiscated, and participants in the conflict are being interrogated,” stated the RF Investigative Committee.
Earlier, a video of bullying of a girl, whom another pupil beats and forces her to wash the toilet with her hands, spread online. Omsk authorities said that after the incident they would check all orphanages in the region.
