Russian peacekeepers restored power supply in the city of Khankendi (Stepanakert) in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was reported in the information bulletin of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on the activities of the Russian peacekeeping contingent (RMC) in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
“Since September 24, power supply has been restored in the city of Khankendi and its surroundings. A joint group of Azerbaijan and KER (Karabakh Economic Region – TASS note), accompanied by RMK military personnel, continues work to restore power supply to populated areas,” the message says.
The Russian Ministry of Defense added that no ceasefire violations were recorded in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
“Since September 19, 2023, 8 observation posts and 16 temporary observation posts of Russian peacekeepers in the Agderey, Khojavend, Khojaly and Shusha regions have been closed,” the military department noted.
Also, for traffic safety, six posts have been set up on the roads, including two jointly with the Azerbaijani side.
