President Zurabishvili said she has no plans to resign
Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili said she has no plans to resign after the country’s Constitutional Court found her to have violated the law.
“I’m not going anywhere. I’m not resigning. I will stay where I am,” TASS quotes her.
According to Zurabishvili, as president she is fighting for the “European future” of Georgia.
On October 16, the Constitutional Court of Georgia recognized Salome Zurabishvili who broke the law due to travel abroad, despite her lack of government permission to do so.
The Constitutional Court of Georgia granted the request to impeach Zurabishvili
