Port infrastructure damaged in Odessa region

Port infrastructure was damaged in the Odessa region, where explosions occurred at night. The ferry crossing has been suspended, said the head of the regional administration, Oleg Kiper.

According to him, nine trucks caught fire. By now the fire has been extinguished.

“Attention: the operation of the ferry crossing has been temporarily stopped,” Kiper wrote in the Telegram channel.

At night, explosions were reported in the Izmail district in the south of the Odessa region. The administrative center of the region – the city of Izmail – is a major port on the Danube.

Earlier, the Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, reported that the Kyiv authorities, under the guise of a grain deal, used port facilities and grain storage facilities for military purposes.
