The Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language in Ukraine, Taras Kremin, said that it is necessary to remove all signs in non-state languages from Ukrainian cities. About it reports RIA News”.
“Once again I urge local authorities to ensure the linguistic rights of citizens and clear Ukrainian cities of advertising and signs in a non-state language,” he said.
Let us note that this is not the first such call from Taras Kremin. Previously, he called on Ukrainian TV channels to abandon the use of non-state languages, and also promised to strengthen control over the use of the Russian language in Odessa.
