Explosions rocked Tel Aviv

Fighters from the Palestinian Hamas movement launched a large-scale rocket attack on Tel Aviv. According to preliminary data, five people were injured, writes The Jerusalem Post.

The victims were wounded by rocket fragments, two of them received serious injuries to their arms and heads.

The remains of one of the rockets fell into the courtyard of the Revivim primary school in Holon.

A Hamas spokesman explained on social media that the two consecutive rocket attacks were carried out in response to shelling of the Gaza Strip by the Israel Defense Forces.

The IDF said air raid systems went off in Kibbutzim Nahal Oz, Kfar Aza, the communities of Elkosh and Netua, as well as in central Israel.
