Belarus promised to do everything to resolve the conflict in Ukraine
Minsk will do everything in its power to resolve the conflict in Ukraine as quickly as possible. This was stated by the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Sergei Aleynik during a speech at a session of the UN General Assembly, writes RIA News.
“It’s very difficult for us to watch how people close to us have been suffering for a year and a half. Ukraine and its people have become a bargaining chip in the West’s big game to preserve its global hegemony,” the diplomat noted.
According to Aleynik, “The West is determined to continue the war until the last Ukrainian.” The minister emphasized that ordinary residents of Ukraine do not need a “war of attrition.”
He recalled that Belarus has always advocated peace in the neighboring country and has taken all possible measures for this.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus, Viktor Khrenin, said that Kyiv is seeking to create a disaster in Europe and is deciding to engage in openly terrorist practices against civilians in Russia and Ukraine.
Khrenin recalled that the Ukrainian regime, under the leadership of the West and at the hands of neo-Nazi formations, destroyed the Russian-speaking population in Donbass and Crimea.
