Anastasia Rakova announced the opening of a new X-ray operating room at the First City Hospital
A new X-ray operating room, equipped with an expert-class digital angiography unit, was opened in the cardioneurological building of the city clinical hospital (CCH) No. 1 named after Pirogov, according to the official website of the mayor of the capital.
“Now the possibilities for performing high-tech operations in this hospital have expanded: a new X-ray operating room has been opened in the regional vascular center of the hospital. Expert-class equipment will allow you to perform high-tech X-ray surgical and arrhythmological operations at the most modern level. An angiograph helps monitor the progress of an operation in real time using x-ray equipment and a modern imaging system. Doctors receive informative and high-quality data about the condition of the patient’s cerebral vessels and cardiac cavities directly during manipulations,” the message quotes the words of the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova.
She noted that cardiovascular diseases are one of the most common causes of hospitalization.
“The most special attention is paid to the treatment of patients with vascular accidents in Moscow. In the capital, the level of development of planned and emergency care for heart attacks and strokes meets the best world standards. For round-the-clock emergency care for patients with cardiovascular pathologies, a network has been created in the city, which includes more than 20 hospitals, and City Clinical Hospital No. 1 named after Pirogov is one of them,” the statement says.
