A Russian plane flying from Thailand abruptly changed course due to wind

A Russian passenger airliner flying from Thailand abruptly changed course due to unfavorable weather conditions. The portal NGS24.RU writes about this.

An unexpected situation occurred with a plane flying from Phuket to Krasnoyarsk on Monday, October 23. Due to strong cross winds, the crew lost control of the aircraft. It is noted that its speed reached 25 meters per second.

According to the publication, as a result, the pilots had to fly to an unscheduled airport. As a result, the airliner landed at the Novosibirsk Tolmachevo air harbor.

It is clarified that other flights were still able to land safely in Krasnoyarsk.

Earlier in October, the pilot of a Eurowings plane felt unwell during a flight and was hospitalized by helicopter. The incident occurred on a passenger airliner flying from Heraklion (Greece) to Frankfurt am Main (Germany).
