A police cordon with dog handlers appeared near the State Duma building on Mokhovaya Street in Moscow. This was reported by Telegram– channel “Caution, Moscow”.
According to eyewitnesses, the sidewalk was blocked, making it impossible to approach the building of the lower house of parliament. Police are asking passersby to look for alternate routes.
The reason for the cordon was not specified. Law enforcement agencies have not yet commented on the situation.
Earlier in July, unidentified persons introducing themselves as the “Partisan Movement against the Extermination of Transgender and LGBT People” reported mining the buildings of the State Duma and the Russian Ministry of Finance. Information about the alleged bombs has not been confirmed.
