A plane flying to Turkey with 178 passengers on board was struck by lightning

A Condor Airlines passenger plane flying from Germany to Turkey was struck by lightning. About it reports Airportia portal.

According to the source, the incident occurred on Sunday, October 15, when the plane was taking off from the Hamburg runway. It is clarified that the crew first continued to climb, and then decided to head to Munich, where they landed with excess landing weight.

It is known that the replaced A320-200 continued the flight and arrived in Antalya with a delay of about two hours. There were 178 people on board.

Earlier it was reported that an Iberia airline plane flying from Spain to Ecuador was struck by lightning during landing. The landing went well, and none of the passengers were injured.
