A group of Arab countries at the UN demands a ceasefire in Gaza

A group of Arab states at the UN is demanding an immediate ceasefire. This statement was made by the Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the UN, Riyad Mansour, reports TASS.

According to him, they categorically condemn the attack on Al-Ahly hospital and hold Israel responsible for this crime. Mansur emphasized that if the UN Security Council had adopted a ceasefire resolution the day before, hundreds of people would have survived.

“The UN must achieve an immediate ceasefire,” the diplomat added.

Mansour indicated that the Security Council must “wake up” and immediately condemn this crime, and all those involved must be brought to justice and held accountable.

The diplomat expressed confidence that US President Joe Biden is able to convince Israel to cease fire and provide humanitarian access to the Gaza Strip, but has not yet done so.

“You must stop this massacre of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Let this stop, it is necessary to provide humanitarian assistance,” Mansour addressed the White House leader.

He believes Joe Biden should not support Israel in everything, while ignoring the views of the Palestinians.
