A festive program for Teacher’s Day was held at the Victory Museum

A large festive program was held in honor of Teacher’s Day at the Victory Museum. The press service of the museum reported this to “Evening Moscow” on Thursday, October 5.

Excursions, master classes, concerts and film screenings were held at the site of the cultural institution for teachers and their students.

Thus, in the Hall of Generals, as part of the All-Russian patriotic competition of children’s and youth creativity “Cranes of Victory”, artists from Tatyana Gromova’s Vocal Studio performed. The young soloists performed the songs “Pochemuchka”, “The Half-Educated Wizard”, “The Ballad of the Mother”, “Where Childhood Goes”, compositions about school time, as well as original songs of their own composition.

In addition, in honor of the holiday, the Victory Museum presented teachers and their students with tickets to excursion programs. Teachers and schoolchildren were able to choose from the excursions “Feat of the Army”, “Battle for Moscow. First Victory!

Besides, Teacher’s Day program will take place at the branch of the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Hill – the G.O.R.A. Museum on Saturday, October 7th. Concerts and film screenings will be held for citizens. Muscovites will also have the opportunity to learn the basics of oratory at the “Expressive Speech” master class.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin congratulated the capital’s teachers Happy Teacher’s Day. The head of the city wished them good health, prosperity and new achievements.
