A cunning Muscovite exchanged new shoes at Wildberries for 8 thousand rubles for old ones

A Muscovite exchanged new shoes for 8,025 rubles for an old, worn pair at one of the capital’s Wildberries distribution points.

According to the 360 TV channel, a criminal case has been opened against the fraudster.

“This client came to us earlier and already made a substitution once. Then we figured out who it was using the cameras. We looked, waited for more orders to arrive, took a picture in advance of what was in her order, and waited for her to come again. She came today, presumably with her son,” said the owner of the point, Andrei.

According to him, the attacker additionally ordered a large item – a stove – to divert attention, but once at the delivery point, she canceled the purchase. Then it turned out that inside the returned box there were no longer new shoes, but old boots.

“And she turns around, and there are already police officers standing behind her. We searched her personal belongings and found replacement shoes, which she took from us and replaced with her own worn ones. She is now detained. A case of fraud is being opened,” the interlocutor explained.

As Svobodnaya Pressa previously reported, Wildberries is introducing a commission for payments with Visa and Mastercard cards.
