A car service center caught fire in the south of St. Petersburg
The fire occurred in a car service center in St. Petersburg on Fuchik Street, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. The fire area was 600 square meters.
This car service is located opposite the Ministry of Emergency Situations building. Emergency services have already begun to extinguish the fire. More than 50 people and 15 pieces of equipment are working on site. Inside the building were lubricants, car tires, car paint, gasoline and fuel cans.
The cause of the fire is currently being established. According to firefighters, the fire was assigned the rank of 2-BIS. There have been no reports of casualties yet. The details of the incident are being clarified.
Earlier, a hotel complex with an area of ​​approximately 400 square meters burned in Yakutsk. About 59 specialists and 13 pieces of equipment were involved in the fight against the fire. Approximately 50 people managed to leave the area before the fire spread.
The day before, a fire engulfed an unused building in the eastern part of Moscow. The fire area was more than 120 square meters; there were no reports of casualties. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, garbage and old tires caught fire. Eyewitnesses published video from the scene.
