20 trucks with humanitarian aid left Egypt for the Gaza Strip

Two dozen trucks with humanitarian aid left Egypt through the Rafah checkpoint to the Gaza Strip. This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the UN Secretary General Stephane Dujarric.

“Our colleagues from humanitarian organizations reported that 20 trucks (with humanitarian aid) today (October 23 – TASS) left for the Gaza Strip from Egypt through the Rafah checkpoint,” he said.

In just three days since the start of humanitarian convoys, 54 trucks have headed to the Gaza Strip.

“It’s a drop in the ocean,” Dujarric added. “I think there were usually about 450 trucks going into the Gaza Strip every day.”
