The Carabinieri of Poggioreale’s operational unit arrested a 21-year-old Neapolitan man on Sunday evening on charges of attempted murder.
At 11 a.m., a 24-year-old man riding an e-bike along Via Argine was hit from behind and knocked to the ground by a car, which then fled. The cyclist was taken to Marais Hospital, where he was discharged with a 10-day prognosis.
The military immediately began an investigation into the incident. According to what the Carabinieri reconstructed, the real reason for the investment was related to a woman who interested them both.
The arrested man was taken to prison to await trial.
