According to Ana Abrunhos, municipal infrastructure losses of about 97 million euros have been identified throughout the country, of which 48.7 million euros in the Lisbon area, corresponding to support of about 22 million euros.

In these cases, the amount did not reach €700,000 “as most companies, small businesses and services had insurance or received support from local authorities” and the cost of this support was deducted from the total damages.

Contracts for the support of flood-damaged infrastructure were approved in the municipalities of Almada and Seixal (Setubal district), Amadora, Arruda dos Vinhos, Benavente, Lisbon, Loures, Odivelas, Oeiras, Sintra and Vila Franca de Lisbon), and also Masao, Rio Mayor. and Vila Nova da Barquinha (Santarem district).
