A 23-year-old man was arrested yesterday morning, Friday 20 October 2023, in Moncalieri on charges of sexual assault. According to the charges, he tried to rape a woman who invited him to her home after an evening out.
The victim managed to escape from him, locked himself in the bathroom and called for help on his mobile phone. When soldiers from the city company arrived at the scene, the 23-year-old Tunisian did not resist, explaining it simply as a misunderstanding.
