Rising fuel prices
Fuel prices will rise next week due to rising oil prices due to conflict in the Middle East. A market source said it all ‘ECHO that diesel, the most used fuel in Portugal, should rise in price by 2 cents and gasoline by 2.5 cents.
From Monday, when you go to refuel, you will have to pay 1,731 euros per liter of pure diesel fuel and 1,785 euros per liter of pure 95 gasoline, taking into account the average values charged at gas stations on Monday, published by the Authority. General of Energy and Geology(GDGEG).
These prices already take into account discounts applied by gas stations, as well as revisions to temporary tax measures designed to mitigate rising fuel prices. The government has increased fuel “discounts”: by two cents per liter of diesel fuel and by one cent per liter of gasoline. Thus, the tax reduction determined by the measures currently in force is 25 cents per liter of diesel fuel and 26 cents per liter of gasoline.
