Rapper Big Baby Tape sues Warner Music over the label’s departure from Russia

Rapper Big Baby Tape (real name Yegor Rakitin) demands 185 million rubles in compensation from the Warner Music label due to leaving Russia. This was reported by the Mash Telegram channel.

According to the publication, Rakitin filed a claim with the Moscow Arbitration Court because he did not receive payment under the contract, which he had in force until 2022.

At the beginning of March 2022, Warner Music announced that it was suspending its operations in Russia. At the same time, the company assured that, despite the suspension of its work, it will continue to fulfill its obligations to employees, artists and songwriters “as the situation evolves.”

On October 23, it was reported that Big Baby Tape would be checked for drug propaganda on the Internet. A case has been opened against the musician under the article on promoting prohibited substances on the Internet. It is currently unknown when the first meeting will take place.

The head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, has already appealed to law enforcement to check Big Baby Tape for drug propaganda.

Earlier, Meladze responded to rumors about his brother’s divorce from Brezhneva.
