Miss Earth Colombia dies of cancer

Miss Earth Colombia winner Alejandra Villafañe has died at 34. About it reports El Tiempo.

The model’s father said that she had recently been battling cancer. However, the cancer has metastasized to different parts of the body.

Villafañe won the national beauty pageant in 2014, earning the right to represent the country at the international level. At Miss Earth she lost in the semi-finals.

In 2018, it was reported that 1995 Miss Universe beauty pageant winner Chelsea Smith had died after a long illness. A representative of her family said that the cause of death was liver cancer, which the woman was diagnosed with in the spring of 2017.
