Irish-Portuguese Business Network Regional Conference

At the first regional conference of the Ireland and Portugal Business Network (IPBN), which will take place in Porto on Wednesday 25 October at the EDP Auditorium of the Porto Business School, we will showcase the progress and leadership that the port city of Matosinhos is achieving. in the maritime world, and the synergies and potential for closer partnerships that exist with Ireland.

We will highlight the latest advances in knowledge and innovation related to ocean and marine sciences at CiiMAR, an interdisciplinary center for marine and environmental research based in Matosinhos.

We will demonstrate the synergies that exist between Portugal and Ireland in making offshore wind successful, and how we, IPBN, can develop the partnership between the two countries.

We will highlight the position and aspirations of the ports of Leixões, Viana do Castelo and the Douro waterway in the entire Portuguese maritime transport sector and in European and global competition.
