The 32-year-old unemployed man from Gesturi (Southern Sardinia) was reported to have sustained aggravated injuries after he was identified by the military at a station in a small Sardinian town. The investigation began after car owners discovered to their horror one morning that their tires, in some cases all four, had been slashed with a knife.
Through inquiries, images from surveillance cameras in the area, witnesses and photographs, police identified the 32-year-old man. According to the reconstruction, the man acted drunk and, to avoid recognition, with a motocross helmet on his head, was found in his apartment during a search. A criminal case was initiated against him.
