The Iranian national team cannot play the second leg against Russia until 2025
Due to a busy schedule, the Iranian national team will not be able to play the second leg against the Russian national team until 2025 at the earliest.
“The return match with the Russian national team is impossible in November and next year. There is a lot going on on all days when official matches and friendly matches take place,” the press service of the Iranian Football Association quoted Sport24.
We would like to remind you that in March this year the Russians played a friendly match with the Iranians in Tehran, which ended with a score of 1-1.
In the October training camp, the Russian national team met the Cameroon team (1-0), where CSKA striker Fedor Chalov scored the only goal. They also played with the Kenyan national team (2:2). As part of Valery Karpin’s team, Alexander Sobolev and Ivan Oblyakov stood out.
