Sobolev is unhappy with Spartak head coach Abaskal due to Dzhikia’s position

The details of the conflict between Spartak Moscow striker Alexander Sobolev and the team’s head coach Guillermo Abascal have become known, Metaratings reports.

According to the source, both men are unhappy with each other, there are several reasons for this, and the whole conflict has been going on for several months. At the same time, Spartak’s management is trying to resolve the problems between Abaskal and Sobolev, but how successful they are is unknown.

Sobolev is dissatisfied with his tactical role on the field, as well as with the position of defender Georgiy Dzhikia at Spartak, who became the team’s reserve player after Srdjan Babic joined. Abascal, on the other hand, doesn’t like how the striker handles training.

On October 18, journalist Ivan Karpov said that Abaskal suspended Sobolev from training at Spartak because the player missed the team’s dinners. The striker was also fined an undisclosed amount.

Spartak’s next game in the RPL will take place on October 22 in Moscow. The Red and Whites host Paris Nizhny Novgorod.
