“I’ll come and smash your face in!” Chimaev turned to Usman
Undefeated middleweight fighter (up to 84 kg) UFC Khamzat Chimaev addressed his opponent Kamaru Usman, whose fight will take place on the night of October 21-22 at the UFC 294 tournament in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
“I will come and break your face! I’m here to win. I’m going to beat this guy, take my money and be happy. I am the best,” Chimaev said at a press conference.
Khamzat Chimaev is 29 years old. The fighter made his professional debut in 2018 and made his first appearance in the UFC back in July 2020. In his last fight at UFC 279 in September 2022, Chimaev stopped American Kevin Holland early in the first round.
Qamaru Usman is 36 years old. The Nigerian won the UFC title in 2019 and made five defenses before losing by knockout to Britain’s Leon Edwards.
