Barcelona apologizes for insulting the Real Madrid star
Barcelona vice-president Rafa Yuste has apologized for the scandalous post on social media published by a board member of the Catalan club, Mikel Camps. Yuste’s words are quoted by Marca.
Kamps criticized Real Madrid’s Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior during the Champions League game in which Los Blancos faced Braga away. “Vinicius is a clown and deserves a slap in the face. This is not racism,” Kamps wrote.
“Even if it was a mistake, it didn’t have to be made. If Vinicius hears me, I assure you that nothing like this will happen again,” Yuste said.
On October 24, Real beat Braga 2-1 in the third round of the UEFA Champions League group stage. Madrid team player Rodrigo scored a goal in the first half. In the second half of the game, Real Madrid’s lead was doubled by Jude Bellingham. Vinicius prepared both goals. The only goal for Braga was scored by striker Alvaro Djalo.
