Russian point guard Alexey Shved has signed a contract with the Chinese team Shanxi Lungs, said the basketball player’s agent Obrad Fimic.
“Now we can officially say that Alexey has become a Shanxi Lungs player. In the coming days he will receive a visa and fly to China to join new partners. I can say that we had two concrete offers from Euroleague clubs, but the more interesting option was with China. After the NBA and the Euroleague, Alexey discovers the new CBA championship, which features many top stars. He really wants to show his best game and help Shanxi Lungs solve big problems,” Sport-Express quoted Fimich as saying.
We would like to remind you that Alexey has been playing for CSKA since 2021. It was previously reported that the Serbian Red Star and a number of other clubs were showing interest in the Swede: mainly from China, but also from an unnamed team playing in the Euroleague.
