Searching for songs by tune and sound leveling: YouTube has added a bunch of new features
After a major UI rethink last year, YouTube announced the launch of “three dozen new features and design updates” such as the You tab and stable volume, which will be rolling out “in the coming weeks.”
One of the key innovations is the “Stable Volume” feature in the mobile application, which reduces sharp differences in volume within a video.
Besides, YouTube introduced improved preview previews and the ability to quickly undo rewind.
However, the most interesting feature was the introduction of the ability to search for songs by humming, whistling or playing a passage.
Google claims to use “AI to match audio to the original recording.” The new feature will be available on Android in the coming weeks.
