The court deprived the former editor of Channel One Ovsyannikov of parental rights

Former Channel One editor Marina Ovsyannikova was deprived of parental rights in relation to her daughter, with whom she fled to Europe by court decision. Her ex-husband Igor Ovsyannikov intends to fight for the return of the child.

According to a SHOT source, the divorce between Marina and Igor Ovsyannikov occurred even before Marina became famous thanks to her “performance” on Channel One. The former couple has two children – a 12-year-old daughter and an 18-year-old son. The son decided to live with his father and has not communicated with his mother for a long time. And Marina Ovsyannikova took her daughter with her to Europe, and their last known location was in Berlin.

Last October, the court limited the parental rights of Marina Ovsyannikova, deciding that the daughter should live with her father. In August of this year, the journalist’s ex-husband filed a lawsuit for the complete deprivation of her parental rights.

In addition, Marina Ovsyannikova was previously convicted of disseminating fake information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. She was sentenced to 8.5 years in prison, and the court deprived her of the right to administer websites for four years.
