The author of “Masyanya” commented on the criminal case against himself with the words “too early to yell”
The creator of the animated series “Masyanya” Oleg Kuvaev, in a conversation with TASS, said that he has not yet received confirmation of rumors about the institution of a criminal case against him.
“There is no confirmation yet. It’s too early to yell,” Kuvaev said.
It is noted that Kuvaev created a video in which Masyanya calls on Russian military personnel to surrender to the Ukrainian side using a website created with the support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Kuvaev currently lives in Israel.
In March 2022, it was reported that Roskomnadzor contacted the owner of the website mult.ru with a demand to delete an episode of the animated series “Masyanya”. According to the department, the series contains “unreliable socially significant information about the progress of a special military operation to protect the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, aimed at discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.”
