An outbreak of an unknown disease was recorded in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, writes the Evenki Life newspaper on VKontakte. In the village of Essey, 38 such cases were registered, the majority of the sick were children, and symptoms included redness of the skin. An epidemiologist, a representative of Rospotrebnadzor and the sanitary and epidemiological station flew to Essey. All those infected donated blood at a local paramedic and midwifery station.
An outbreak of an unknown infection has been recorded in Essene. There are currently 38 cases reported. Most of the sick are school-age children. The disease occurs in a mild form. The main symptom is a reddish rash, the report says.
The press service of the regional Ministry of Health told Izvestia that there were no severe cases of the disease and no one required hospitalization.
Earlier, employees of the Rospotrebnadzor department for the Sverdlovsk region identified seven cases of ringworm infection among children studying at school No. 1 in Pervouralsk. Experts noted that the sick schoolchildren study in different classes. In each of them, quarantine was introduced to prevent the spread of the disease.
Prior to this, 45 people at the Kyzyl school complained of symptoms characteristic of acute intestinal infection. According to the head of the Republic of Tyva, Vladislav Khovalyg, five students were hospitalized. Tests were taken from the canteen workers, and samples of the food that the schoolchildren ate were also examined.
