Activists demanded the cancellation of Arbenina’s tour because of Israel
The tour of the singer, leader of the group “Night Snipers” Diana Arbenina was in jeopardy after residents of Izhevsk, Novosibirsk and Penza demanded the cancellation of her concerts. Life reports this with reference to Shot.
Activists in Penza wrote a statement to the governor demanding a ban on the Night Snipers’ performance due to Arbenina’s disagreement with the official position of the Russian Federation on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Russia, according to the author of the appeal, adheres to neutrality on this issue, and Arbenina supported Israel with her new song.
Residents of the Novosibirsk region, in a letter to deputies of the local State Duma and the Ministry of Culture, stated that Arbenina did not support Russia’s special operation in Ukraine. The authors of the appeal to the head of the Udmurt Republic, Alexander Brechalov, in Izhevsk asked “not to betray” the military in the Northern Military District zone with the performance of the singer’s group.
Arbenina has a concert planned in Izhevsk on October 17, in Novosibirsk on October 22, and in Penza on October 25.
“I will not comment on any post on the topic of concerts. They will be as long as I want to sing. Voila!” – she commented on the initiative.
Prior to this, the authorities of the Republic of Mari El canceled the Night Snipers concert scheduled for October 18. Arbenina called this decision sabotage.
