In mid-October, Sony announced a smaller version PlayStation 5, which traditionally will be called Slim. The main feature of the console is a removable disk drive, which can be purchased separately for $80.
Already online published photos of the bundle box of the new PS5 and the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. As it turns out, when you first connect a removable drive to the console, the device must be connected to the Internet, otherwise it will not work correctly or will not work at all.
Players noted that such a decision could lead to many problems in the future when Sony shuts down the servers to check the drive. This also means that if there is some kind of network error, gamers will not be able to attach the disc drive to the PS5, so the company needs to come up with an alternative in case of unforeseen circumstances.
The smaller PS5 will go on sale on November 10 in the US and Japan. The console will reach other countries a little later.
