PS Plus subscribers will have access to a free catalog of Sony Pictures films
Sony announced collaboration between its gaming division PlayStation and film company Sony Pictures. Owners of PS4 and PS5 consoles will be able to install the Sony Pictures Core application on their devices, in which they will be able to purchase or rent up to 2,000 films from the corporation’s large catalogue. At the launch, gamers can expect to see “Uncharted: Not on the Cards,” “The Great Equalizer,” “Spider-Man: Web of Universes” and other works.
More importantly, PlayStation Plus Premium and Deluxe subscribers will be able to access a collection of nearly 100 films that will be available to watch completely free of charge. Among the available films: “Looper”, “Resident Evil: Grudge” and other films.
PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe subscribers will have access to a curated catalog of up to 100 Sony Pictures films.
Sony Pictures Core is already available in 23 countries, including the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The functionality most likely will not reach Russia.
