New Intel processors can increase FPS in games
Early last week, the technology company Intel introduced a new generation of its processors. It turned outthat in addition to increased performance, they will also offer a dynamic optimization setting feature – APO (Intel Application Optimization).
Its essence lies in the fact that the processor redistributes power in real time – in some games this gives a very significant performance increase. For example, in Rainbow Six Siege the frame rate was increased by 200 FPS at 1080p. On the RTX 4090 video card, the shooter was able to produce more than 1160 FPS.
However, Intel emphasized that APO will not provide a performance boost in all games. Previously, experts overclocked the Intel i9-14900KF processor to a record 9.1 GHz.
