It became known why The Elder Scrolls 6 was announced so early
Former Bethesda designer Bruce Nesmith told in an interview with the MinnMax channel about why The Elder Scrolls 6 was announced in 2018. According to him, the announcement was made due to the tense situation in the community.
Gamers allegedly demanded news about the game, and by 2018 everyone was already “with pitchforks and torches.” Moreover, this announcement violated Bethesda’s rule. Usually the company does not do this, but circumstances forced it to do otherwise.
Nesmith stressed that gamers should not expect details of The Elder Scrolls 6 in the coming years. Bethesda will begin to actively talk about the title only closer to release, which means there is still a very long wait.
There are no details of the game, just a small teaser. It can be seen below.
The video is available on the Bethesda Softworks YouTube channel. Video rights belong to Bethesda.
