Experts launched Counter-Strike 2 at a record 1300 FPS
At SXSW Sydney, a team of experts overclocked the Intel Core i9-14900K processor to an impressive 8 GHz. Then the TeamAU team decided to test its performance in practice – shooter Counter-Strike 2 managed to run at 1300 FPS.
The frame rate turned out to be so high that none of the commercial monitors can fully display it. Experts used liquid nitrogen to cool the PC. Roger Chandler, vice president and general manager of Enthusiast PC and Workstation at Intel, personally took part in the experiment.
