Peter Yan hinted at an early return to fighting
Former Absolute Fighting Championship Champion (UFC) Petr Yan will return to the Octagon next year. The Russian athlete hinted at this on his social networks.
“We roll in quietly. “There are plans for 2024,” wrote the athlete.
We would like to remind you that Petr Yan’s professional record in mixed martial arts is 16-5. The Russian fighter had his last fight on March 11 at the UFC Fight Night 221 tournament in Las Vegas (USA). His opponent was the representative of Georgia Merab Dvalishvili. The fight was unsuccessful for Ian – he lost by unanimous decision after five rounds. Thus, Yan’s losing streak in the Absolute Fighting Championship reached three fights. The former UFC champion’s next fight has not yet been announced.
